In this film, chapters depict the life of a barber at Varanasi’s Manikarnika Ghat, who cuts the hair of the deceased, while his son photographs him. The son grows up to become a photographer, capturing images of the dead. Facing modern challenges, such as people using mobile phones for photos, and personal struggles, including his father's health and financial difficulties, the story unfolds the everyday life and hardships of Sharma Ji and his family.
